So, here are a few ideas re for what to see and do during your stay here, based on feedback from our guests, and the personal experience of our staff. (For more detail on your arrival, visit our Front Desk Travel Information Station for brochures, travel ideas and advice tailored to your needs.)

Possibilities are arranged in the form of a one week stay at Oceanstone so you might get a sense of the breadth and depth of possibility. But you can pick and choose in whatever way best serves your needs.

So Click on the suggestion of your choice, or read sequentially:

Day One: Relax and Unwind at Oceanstone. Experience the magic of the Nova Scotia ocean at your door: swim, beachcomb, meditate, book an eco-adventure, go for a paddle, watch a sunset, etc.
Day Two: See the famous Peggy's Cove Light, and the magical land that surrounds it. Stroll through an old fishing village, shop and check out the local art, including the DeGarthe Museum. Driving time: 5 min.
Day Three: Take a day trip to Lunenburg, a United Nations World Heritage Site. Check Lunenburg's famed folk art, its old world architecture and its museums. Driving time: 1.2 hours
Day Four: See the many attractions of the bustling seaport city of Halifax: Halifax, with its many museums, art galleries, ahd shopping opportunities. Driving time: 40 min.
Day Five: Take a day trip through the beautiful Annapolis Valley to see the world's highest tides, the rolling green vineyards of grand Pre wines, and the cullinary creations of the Tangled Garden. Driving time: 1.2 hours
Day Six: Make a choice or split the day between the Ross Farm Museum (great for the kids) or a ride on the high tides of the Shubenacadie Tidal Bore. Driving time: 1 hour
Day Seven: Relax and Unwind (See Day One)
